While checking other servers, we noticed that it does show decent results, as well. Though the speed does get slowed down by up to 50%, the latency also increased by more than two times in some of the tests, for example, through the servers in London.

Overall, HideIPVPN provides a good service. But we have certain concerns about it, which lead to in-depth analysis. And, we think HideIPVPN is not something we would like to recommend to the users if they’re looking for a better VPN service, because it does come with certain drawbacks.

The server list is limited. It allows torrenting but only on specific servers in Germany and Netherlands, unlike other Torrent friendly VPNs that have a reasonable list of servers supporting it. And, if the user tries to torrent through any other server except the permitted servers, they will be warned and if it’s repeated, the account will be suspended without notification and refund. Speed is not so great and it provides only three simultaneous connections from a single account compared to others that allow five or more simultaneous connections.

We can’t say that HideIPVPN is completely a torrent-friendly VPN because torrenting is allowed only when Germany and the Netherlands are included in the user’s package. Other than that, servers like the US, UK, PL, FR, and CA don’t allow it. If any users try, they will be warned by the system, and if it’s repeated, their account will be suspended without any refund.
